Guidelines for MPS Contracted Community Partners re: photography and/or video release
We know that pictures and images of students engaged in programming can be important for our Partners to promote the great work that they do. At the same time, student privacy and safety are top priorities for MPS. Student data (including images of students) is governed by law and MPS policy.
Contracted Community Partners wishing to take and use student photos, video or voice recordings must use the MPS Contracted Community Partner photo/video release form. Please complete all highlighted sections and submit the form to cpo@mpls.k12.mn.us for approval consideration (allow 5-7 business days for review).
By submitting a photo/video release form for approval, you are agreeing to the following:
Media: As a general practice, we appreciate knowing about any media request. All media requests that require use of MPS facilities or take place during school hours must be approved in advance by the Office of Communications, Engagement & External Relations.
