This dashboard allow us to better understand where there are gaps in services, additional needs, and duplicated resources. Community organizations that serve MPS students (at school or community sites) are asked to submit a program roster twice annually, as well as complete a profile to provide more information about their services.
Data currently includes program participation during the school year (not summer). While many of the organizations included in this dashboard serve students who attend schools outside of the district, REAA can only report on MPS students. Programs can occur during the school day or afterschool.
Program rosters were either submitted directly to REAA from the community partner organization, or obtained through the Minneapolis Community Education database (OYP), the Minneapolis Afterschool Network database (with program consent), or MPS Extended Learning records. MPS Athletics data is not currently included. In addition, any health-related program services protected by HIPAA are not included. The data is presented by program type, including:
-Academic Enrichment: STEM, Literacy, Foreign Language -Arts: Visual and Performing Arts, Music, Dance, Theatre -Attendance/Truancy Prevention: Be@School -Leadership: Youth Development -Mentoring: Small group, 1:1 -Physical Health: Nutrition, Physical Activity -Social Emotional Learning & Wellness: Yoga, Restorative Practices -Tutoring: Academic Tutoring
REAA collects rosters twice annually. If you do not see your organization included in this dashboard but would like to be included in the future, please contact partnership.evaluation@mpls.k12.mn.us. REAA will collect end-of-year rosters in June 2017. All questions or concerns can be directed to partnership.evaluation@mpls.k12.mn.us.
